This term in Computing we have been looking at writing algorithms and thinking about very clear, precise instructions. With our Learning Partners we planned and wrote an algorithm for a PE obstacle course, we tested them and tried to debug our algorithms. Then we gave our revised algorithms for people to test, everything went well, apart from handwriting and spelling prevented our testers from being able to read them clearly, something we will definitely work on!

Training with David the Para-Athlete
Great Bear Class and Mrs D. had a great time doing circuit training with David the World Champion Hand Cyclist.
We spent a minute on each activity, spotty dog, leg drives, press ups and star jumps. Everyone worked really hard, stayed focussed and enjoyed exercising to the music. We then stayed to sing, dance and cheer on Cygnus Class. We left the hall very hot, tired and sweaty!
Here are lots and lots of great action photos.

Lowry Day
What an amazing day we had! Thank you so much for all the fabulous costumes, they really helped us to be creative.
We spent the day doing lots of talking, role play and imaginative thinking before planning our Bright Write.
Here is what we did:
Role played characters in the painting.
Found words to describe feelings, sights, sounds and smells.
Looked really carefully at the painting using magnifying glasses.
Hot Seated volunteers and asked them questions about their adventures in the painting.
Worked with our Learning Partners to create drama sketches about how we got into the painting and showed them to the class.
Listened to the story "Katie and The British Artists" By James Mayhew. Katie is able to magically climb into paintings and have adventures.
Here are lots of photos of us working and looking fab in our costumes
